Net Zero Projects for Off Grid Manufacturing, an Industrial Complex and a School
Course Highlights

This online engineering PDH live webinar presents 3 energy efficient projects - an off-grid manufacturing facility, a 600K+ sqft industrial property, and a school district which was taken to a net zero standard.

The off-grid manufacturing facility and the industrial complex that will be discussed involved upgrades to the ventilation system to improve indoor air quality using an Energy Recovery Module (ERM) with an ENERGY STAR rated in-line fan. ASHRAE Standard 55 was met without additional heat along with saving 82.5% of the energy in the exhaust air.

Additionally, work was done with Hopewell Valley Regional School District in 2003 to improve energy efficiency and indoor air quality in the district’s six schools. Using EPA’s ENERGY STAR Portfolio Manager tool and energy performance rating system to benchmark and rate each school’s energy use, Haglid assisted Hopewell in making operational changes and upgrades decisions that yielded  the greatest and most cost-effective energy reductions.

This 1 PDH webinar is intended for civil, structural, mechanical, and electrical engineers, as well as design and construction personnel interested in learning about sustainable energy and design.
