This online engineering PDH course provides a comprehensive overview of the Royal Mail Ship (RMS) Titanic.

 

The RMS Titanic was the most up-to-date passenger liner of its time.  It was said to be unsinkable. This course introduces the RMS Titanic and describes the historic collision with an iceberg that sank the “unsinkable” ship.  This course also explains why and how the ship sank and discusses the design flaws as well as the the human error that may have contributed to the deaths of hundreds.

 

This 3 PDH online course is applicable to civil, mechanical, electrical, control systems engineers, design and construction personnel, technical staff and facility operators who are interested in gaining a better understanding of the design flaws that can contribute to a disaster.

Learning Objectives

This PE continuing education course is intended to provide you with the following specific knowledge and skills:
