Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM): Achieving all your Hopes and Promises

COURSE NO: B02-014
PDH CREDIT: 2
Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM): Achieving all your Hopes and Promises
Course Highlights

This online engineering PDH course describes problems frequently encountered by facilities that use Streamlined RCM to improve asset reliability.  In doing so, they create a new regimen of maintenance work converting it from reactive to proactive.  In addition to increasing asset reliability, the new way of performing work will reduce costs and make day-to-day planning more predictable.

Unfortunately, the results of implementing a Streamlined RCM program are frequently less successful than expected.  Reliability does not increase as much as expected.  The cost of maintenance does not improve as expected.  The objective of transforming the plant from a reactive posture to a proactive one seems unattainable.

This 2 PDH course is intended for engineers assigned the role of reliability engineer for a company, or a plant required to improve asset reliability.
